I read the other reviews here before buying the drive. They are for the most part correct BUT.....I had no trouble installing the drive and this was my first installation. I pulled the older drive out and plugged in the cables to this one. The drive worked like a charm. The drive is as fast as advertised and works well with 3 different DVDs I have used so far. Lightscribe is really nice too. Overall, I dont know what else I could have expected from this drive.

The drive have no manual, but come with nero express for burning cd/dvd cover design. Lightscibe print is a nice feature, but need to download Lightscibe software online. It take 15-20min. to print a DVD cover. Print it twice you get the best picture close to black/white pictures.

This DVD Drive do not work with window Vista And I bought window Vista in the same place overstock .com and so I can not use the Window vista
