When my new LG LED TV arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how attractive a set it was. Wafer thin, lightweight, sleek design, I was happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy it because something happened along the way, in transport or at the warehouse, that damaged the TV so that it only displays fractured lines at all angles across the screen. Such a pity; I was so diasppointed. It was a refurbished set, so my first thoughts were in that direction, until I examined the box more closely and saw the slightest dent in the side. It hardly seemed enough to damage the unit, I thought, because the box was quite sturdy. But, apparently, it sustained enough of a bang to disrupt the delicate electronics behind the screen. Bummer. The Return process was a bit scary, in that I was told to wait up to ten days for UPS to come and assess blame for the damage. If they didn't show, I was to simply discard the TV, which would have been practically impossible for me to do, given it's utter attractiveness. But, alas, UPS arrived and simply carted it off, no fuss. I was refunded my money shortly thereafter. Shame...such a lovely set! I'm rating my review "GOOD" solely on design quality. No chance to judge picture quality.
