LCD touchpanel phone
mtirishphone  from Ronan, MT,  May 6, 2009
This telephone has a whole lot of bells and whistles, but a VERY poor volume control. Has only two settings, high ( which is not adequate) and low. There is very little difference between them, thus it is not possible for the phone to be used by everyone. This precludes me from recommending to other folks.

horrible

The phone will work on when the batteries are included. You put the batteries in and the none of the advertised features work. I would have returned the junk but I am away and its at home in the box. It would be nice to get an extension to return it to the company

LCD TOUCH PHONE
texasjoe2003  from Dallas, Texas USA,  Dec 4, 2008
This was my Christmas presents to some of my family. It looks nice, and with a few corrections it would be so much better: It has a ring tone that sounds like a Chinese ice cream truck that is a bit annoying, even the first time you hear it. It looks good, and a bit difficult to program. A few of them did not work properly and I trashed them as they were not worth returning. I have worked in electronics for over 25 years by building and inspecting transmitters,...but these are a fair investment. If the audio speaker changed to someone else that was not so annoying when someone called, and a changed ring tone that did not make you want to pull it out of the wall connection. I am saying that I wish that I had not bought this, and my bright idea was not so great after all. That said: buy it, and it is a fair investment. I still like overstock, and I will just avoid electronics from the Internet. DVD's are fine, and music CD's are great here. Have a Merry Christmas, Joe from Texas, USA.

I have had this phone for three years. We no longer change the batteries. The phone looks better than it works. So, use it to impress, but would not recommend it as one of your main phones. Ours is used about twice a week, and that is probably all it can take.

too big
c63d  from Bristol , ct,  Apr 15, 2008
I like the oveall feature of the phone. But when i Go to key in the numbers the phone falls over. You should have a biger base for the phone and not make it so flimsy. I would like to also have space to plug in my computer to it, not availble right now. The overall clarity of the phone is nice. I would like to have the choice to have a regular ring tone. The tones you have are too barrish and incencitive. But the ease of puting in automatic diling in is great, only i have more than 10 relatives that i keep in touch with. Over all it is a good

Not long enough
litterbit22  from Rockingham, NC,  Apr 6, 2008
The phone is very good for the frist 3 or 4 days. Then the light goes out. Phone works but you can't see who is calling or the number. Can't hardly hear on the phone at. Other than those 2 the phone is very nice. It stands up so you don't have to get up to see.

OK
kwhaley867  from Wauchula Fl,  Mar 5, 2008
The phone was ok at first. The screen requires to many batteries to have the lights stay on all of the time. I have been looking for a phone that I could hear better on. This one I did hear better, but other people can not hear me.

After hooking this phone up, I was pleased with it's overall look. I like the fact that it sits upright and had large buttons for dialing and an optional night light feature as well as of course, the talking caller ID. All great features that led me to purchase in the first place. The down side (and it's the deal breaker) is the fact that it runs on 3 AAA batteries and I have changed mine TWICE since setting it up less than 10 days ago. The 'talking' caller ID drains so much power to run from the AAA batteries that it burns through the batteries in a matter of 3-4 days. Then I am left with a dark dialing pad that does not even display the Caller ID, let alone speak it. It works fine to dial out, but be prepared to change batteries about every 4 days if you want any Caller ID functions, illuminated numbers or night light features to work.

I do not like these telephones
violet728  from Providence, Kentucky,  Jan 7, 2008
I am very disappointed with the 2 phones that I purchased. the voice quality is very poor. It was difficult to get the phones operational. They "ate" batteries real fast. I am not pleased with these items, I would have sent them back, but, the containers and info are out of my home. The phones are now sitting in my utility room on the shelf. I had to purchase two new phones for my den and bedroom.

Talking Caller ID Display Phone
connellt  from Kansas City, MO,  Jan 7, 2008
The phone features are easy to use. The one thing that could be approved upon is the talking caller ID. It is so slow, I would rather get up to see the caller ID display for the number.

Too good to be true
warminwi  from Viroqua, WI,  Jan 6, 2008
Though inexpensive, we expected all the features to work. Three AA batteries were NOT enough to power up the LED screen. It doesn't work correctly, has only partial viewing, which is useless. The phone itself is plastic , though it works okay. Overall, since some of the features have "glitches", we would hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Not worth it!
bluize155  from Tampa, FL,  Dec 26, 2007
I bought this phone less than a year ago.....it has shorted out already. The cord is about 3 feet, and a longer cord can not be found for this model! I bought it because it has a LARGE number pad when I don't have my glasses hand. However, the receiver is an odd shape and hard to hang on to when you are talking. Big disappointment.

LCD touch phone
susher619  from San Diego, CA,  Dec 26, 2007
I need to have a phone that works all the time and not depend on batteries so I bought this one to have for emergencies. I liked the idea of it being speaker phone and I could just push the button but people keep complaining they don't hear me and I don't hear them no matter how many times I push the volume button. I think i'll go back to using my cordless and save this one for emergency cases

LCD Phone
ajaljdfaa  from Texas,  Dec 22, 2007
This phone barely rates poor. Most of the time, those who are one the other end of the line can not hear well enough to understand you, even when you put your mouth directly on the mouth piece. The hands free option makes it even worse. Evidently the microphone in this phone has a design problem. Do not buy unless you just want a nice looking paper weight.

LCD touch phone with talking caller ID
rosenfp  from small town southern Indiana,  Nov 28, 2007
I have had this product for about a month now and am very pleased with the quality and the features. So far it has been durable, and that means something when there are 6 children in the house. I like that it speaks the phone number....I can hear it in the other room while I am getting to the phone or finding a cordless phone. I like the touch screen. It is extremely easy to use. I like the hands-free feature. I use hands-free when I am dialing most of the time. My kids think this is a great phone. This phone is a great value for the money.

Not for the Hearing Impaired
bgolden  from Austin,Texas,  Jul 28, 2007
The phone is a great value and looks very modern. I like the features but the volume control only has high and low. If you have a hearing problem or just like the volume a little higher you are out of luck.

LCD Telephone
Dirtybird  from Knoxville, TN,  Jun 17, 2007
I like the music on hold option, the announcement of the number of whose calling. My only gripe is that the volume is too low and you can not adjust it any higher. If there is any noise in the room you can not hear the announcement nor can you hear the conversation using the hands free portion of the phone.

I am disappointed with the performance of this phone. I can't imagine that the accurate MSRP is $60. The sound quality of the speaker phone in particular is a major source of my disappointment. In addition the volume adjustment is inadequate in my opinion. I like the appearance and the touch pad. Programming is rather simple. Overall I wish I had avoided this purchase.
