A useful item, given a cheap second hand Minolta MC/MD mount lens (the old manual focus and aperture lenses that predate the AF autofocus lenses) and a similarly cheap MC/MD to MA or AF lens mount adapter you can be in business doing macro photography at greater than 1:1 magnification with a Sony Alpha DSLR. I've found that the secret of getting photos in focus is to have the bellows unit held rigidly, it is too wobbly on a tripod. The product description said a slide/transparency attachment was included, it wasn't and that tilt and shift were possible , they are not. A proper macro lens is far more useful but they cost a great deal more than $25.
