Konaki MP3/ MP4 Player and 2.3MP Camera/ Camcorder

I have worked in the IT field for over 20 years so I consider myself up to any technical challenge. Until now. I have tried to use this device for video playback and have never been successful. The box states that it is mpeg4 asf compatible. After loading various mpeg 4 video files with no luck, I downloaded a sample .asf video file from Microsoft and loaded it on the player. It does not even list the file when you select video from the menu. This is the same result for all the video loaded on the device. Curiously, when you look at the device under Windows (it shows up as a removable drive) there is no folder for video. There is one for MP3 files. It does play MP3 files, but you could spend a lot less for an MP3 player. Bottom line: Buy this only if you want an mp3 player with a low res camera. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for a device to watch video. I also agree with the earlier reviews about the terrible manual. It is useless, as is the website.

Thought I was getting several devices in one for a bargain, but would be better off buying separate camera, game player, MP4 player. Winner of Worst User Guide Ever. It was obviously written in chinese and run through a translation program. I doubt an english speaker ever proof read it (some of the translations are actually amusing when you figure them out). Still don't know how to use all the features as it is entirely trial and error (mostly error so far). Warning: Batteries MUST be fully charged or the camera leaves horizontal scan lines visible in images. Konaki website lists this product under GAME rather than MP4 or CAMERA and there is no additional info there. Updated firmware or software is not available as the "Software Download" link is not actually a hyperlink - just text.

my granddaughter loved the media player. My daughter loved the media player. I also loved the media player. It was a great price and I wish I would of bought more for some birthdays that is coming up in the family.

We can't load anything onto this, the software drivers do not work and my computer will not recognize it on top of that the instructions are pitiful. They are written in some kind of broken English, I would not ever buy anything from this company again

We recevied the product in a very timely manner. I purcahsed them for Christmas but had to open them to make ure everyting works and they worke beautifully. I could not be happier!
