This was perfect for what I needed. It's portable and cute. The sound is pretty good. Not a Bose thump but good for the price. I only wanted to listen to my ipod without headphones. I took it on my recent trip to NY and was able to listen to my ipod in my hotel room. Only negative was that it does not come with an adapter. You must have your own. It does come with batteries which will last you for a short while.

This little device serves its purpose for me- portable and with adequate sound.
