I'm a professional educator and use these flash drives to help students move data and save information. Don't be lured by the high-gigabyte drives if you really don't need to save mega-pixel graphics and video. For general use, a half gig is more than you will need. I've stored six semesters worth of powerpoints, handouts, lecture notes and grading Excel sheets on one half gig flash. They also are sturdier for frequent use than the big ones.

I use these for a cheap way of sending pictures and smaller files. I think the compactness of them makes them more useful than discs when you don't have large files to send, and i think they're more easily stored than discs.

This is a solid little surplus half gig USB memory stick, which still has the iPhone program on it. It works flawlessly, is mechanically sound, and cheap enough to spread around my office, so that employees can carry information with them to their workstations. Good job as usual, O.

This product is a life saver. I embroider and have many different categories for my designs. Now I can put each category on its own USB stick. The amount of memory is perfect as my machine likes 512MB sticks and nothing else. Great price too.

My question before purchase was "Can I use these to distribute to students in my class?" The answer is clearly yes. I can load far more than with floppies, I can re-save which is not possible with CD's. Yes the cost is higher but the offsets are worth it. Bulk purchase is especially handy.

You couldn't get a better deal anywhere else! I got this for my office which has alot of staff different times of the year--the flash drive is the best way for the office to keep track of all our files without the bulkiness of paper files etc.
