I had a ton of pictures on my laptop. I had a driver file get corrupted and needed to reinstall factory software. Reinstalling would have wiped all my pics from my computer. Emailing 100's of pictures to myself wasn't something I wanted to do. This little flashdrive was plug-n-play ready. I just plugged it into the USB port & copied all those pics onto it in one shot. It took about 3 minutes. Then I went to my desktop computer, plugged it in and moved all the files from the flashdrive onto my harddrive, another 3 minutes. My pics are safe and it didn't take me days to do it. I would rather wait a couple of days for shipping than spend a couple of days with aggravation transferring them the hard way. It's got a cap over the USB plug, and the other end has a loop for a lanyard. No pushbuttons, bells or whistles. It's not fancy, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
What's to be said about this flash drive. It's a flash drive, and does what it's supposed to do: hold lots of data in a portable device that fits on your key chain. The transfer is fast, not lightning quick, but still not worth worrying over really. The one reason that if I had to buy another one of these that I wouldn't buy this exact same type is because the USB plug is covered with a cap which snaps onto the end of things. But what am I going to do if I lose the cap? It'll still work, but I'll feel a bit more exposed than I'd like. If I had to buy another flash drive I'd choose one that had some way of protecting/covering the USB plug which didn't detach from the rest of the device. Other than that, I have no real complaints.
