I bought this for a smartphone and the phone did not support the size of card, older phone. I will still use it because it works perfect for me needs plus, it gives me a extra card for my newer cell phone.

I ordered this SD card for my smartphone Treo 755p. I already had a 2GB card in it but was running out of room and wanted to get a card with higher capacity and transfer all of my stuff from the old card to this new card. When I recieved it and inserted the 4GB card into my Sony Vaio laptop (Windows XP), it was not recognized and no icons showed up. I tried it several times with no success. I was about to return it, but then I inserted it into my MacBook (Apple OS 10.4) and its icon showed up right away. I did my transfers on my Mac but then put the card back into my Sony Vaio and it was recognized with ease. From then on, I have had no difficulty with this card no matter what OS I used. So now I am using it mostly in my Vaio and transfer audiobooks, songs, eReader books, vpictures, etc. and it is working great so far.
