Bad Design
want to begin by saying i had researched the brand Kinyo and for the most part their product reviews were pretty good ..but this product is poorly designed to stay attached to top of my notebook which btw is a Gateway NV 53 ..also have a Compac and experienced the same problem . you see the lips that are in front of this bar aren't long enough and as you tighten the back which has a rubber like bumper puts pressure & it pops the sound bar off (slips from front) ...BAD BAD BAD ! you would had thought they would had tested this out on various notebooks .. if the front lips were longer and with a rubber backing then i can see it working otherwise it wont stay locked on sturdy enough to leave on top .. the sound isn't all that great neither but it is an improvement over my Gateway.... oh and another thing it does not have a volume control another feature that would had been nice looking back i should had paid more attention to details....
