I prefered this unit over the ear piece when driving. The reception is good, sound quality is good and I like the fact that the automatically shuts off when I live the car and take my cell phone with me. The only thing I would like to have is a home charger included. I would definately refer this unit, it 's good quality for the money.
The hands-free arrived quickly. I charged it upon receipt, put it in my truck, turned it on, matched it to my cell and I was off and driving. Couldn't be happier.
Works great and sounds nice and clear. Received in a reasonable amount of time as well.
Initially it would not enter training mode...after about 15 minutes of trying, I turned it on and held down the button while it turned on, then it entered training mode. The documentation does not say to do this...it says just turn it on and it automatically trains. It doesn't. After that I could make calls, but every time I tried to answer an incoming call, it would hang up on the other party. It turns out there is about a 3 second delay from the time you tap to answer before it actually connects the call. If you tap it twice (which I did because I thought it wasn't answering), it hangs up on the person trying to call. This too is not in the documentation. After that, it does seem to work as advertised.
My package was missing the CD (manual) so I had to go to jabra.com to find out how to get started. Charging via the cigarette lighter for 2hrs was inconvenient, especially since the unit kept losing its charge overnight in the cold garage. (I hope recharging is faster.) But the speakerphone works, so I'm happy. It pairs with my Pebble quickly and is easy to use. I've used the one-touch redial and the voice dialing without a hitch. The sound is clear going both ways, which is awesome. Overall, well worth the money. Just wish it had a way to charge other than in the car.
Both my daughter and I tried to set this device up and we still have been unsuccessful. My 1st question was, "how do we know if its charging?" You cannot see the LCD lights. Hopefully I won't have to send it back.
You can't turn it off and on that easy. Sound/volume is hard to adjust a good feature is the hands free.
