Nice product. It slightly shortens battery life of phone, but no other complaints. Has good sound and others are able to hear me clearly, even in loud enviroments.
This isn't the first Jabra product I've bought. This one stopped working after less than two weeks of use. If these things lasted longer, they'd be worth buying. The sound comes through loud and clear, and the mic works great. It just broke..really quickly.
If you are still into the older style corded-headsets for cell phones, I've used a similar Jabra for about a year and like it. At 50% off, I couldn't pass up a great deal. Now I can leave one in the car and another to take with.
the hands free works fine for me, however it got a little heavy behind my ear. i went back on overstock and brought another style, which gave 2 in the package, i'm happy with the results..
I got this because my friend was so concerned about the radiation from cell phones. I had been using a blue tooth earpiece, but he said that I would still get radiation. So I am using this and it works well, even with my impaired hearing, although it does not work with the hearing aid in, as it says in the description (I was hoping, because having to remove the hearing aid means it can be lost or fall and break...). The cord does take some getting used to, but it makes it easier to find in my brief case! You can't beat the price, also!
This is a pretty decent headeset. It comes with two sets of ear gels in several sizes and with 2 different purpose. A set for in the ear action (for nosier environment) and one that sits just outside of the ear canal. The mic pickup seems to be pretty decent allowing you to have a conversation in normal tones in public without broadcasting your conversation to everyone within a half block radius. There is a button on the bottom side of the mic that allows you to have the phone tucked away and answer and hangup the phone using the button. On other phones there may be added functionlity like dial by voice or or mute or whatever, but thats dependant on how programmable your phone is not the headset. The clip over the ear design fits the headset to your ear in a hearing aid manner that allows you to move normally (or even bend over) without fear of having the set fall off your head if you bend to pick something up. My only fault with this headset is that I wish the cord where slightly longer, running the cord down the inside of my shirt and back around under and over my belt to my belt holster leaves almost no slack. One thing to note. This is a 2.5mm jack like found on my Blackberry 8290. Which is to say that it is SMALLER than your typically iPod mini jack. Typical (iPhone) headphone jacks are the larger 3.5mm (mini), if you need something for your iPhone or any phone that requres the larger 3.5mm (mini) jack this will not fit your phone.
I recieved this item a few days after I sent for it, it was packaged very well, I really enjoyed the headset the audio quality was nice, and it fit very nicely on my ear, I do a lot of over the road driving and have never liked the bluetooths I see so many people wear, I just purchased a new non bluetooth phone and I didn't want to get another phone so soon after buying a new non-ennabled phone, and best of all the price was right.
Works great, easy to use, but listeners on the other end report slight difficulty hearing me. Still, it functions very well for the price!
I find it more comfortable than a blue tooth and the sound seems good.
I had the model one lower and the cord that connected to the phone got tempermental. Although, I have not had this one for long, I like it much better. The mic. comes behind the ear and under the jaw, unlike most models where it goes near the cheek. The quality of sound both in and out is good. I think this is by far the best bargin I have seen. I like it much better then my bluetooth.
This headset was easy to use but the audio quality was very poor. It was heard to hear people talk, despite the volume being turned on high and I was told that it sounded like I was in a wind tunnel and they couldn't hear me either. I wished I wouldn't have wasted my money on this as I can't even use it! I was definitely not worth it!
I've become very sensitive to the radiation emanating from my phone. I was getting headaches withing minuets of using it, droopy eyelid on that side of my head, and a numb ear. This has made it so I can use my phone again. Also it's improved the Audio Quality, and made it easier to do other tasks while talking. I do a lot of work on the computer while using the phone, breeze now. Love it!
I bought this one to replace the same one that I had and lost. My husband keeps trying to talk me into a bluetooth. I don't like the way those hang on my ear--they always feel loose.. This one stays solid, doesn't move, and fits perfectly. I love the way the ear bud stays in my ear.
For the value I love the clarity of sound. I would recommend this to my friends who don't have a bluetooth phone
This is an excellent buy the sending volume and receiving reception from others very good.
The ear piece that came with the phone broke....and I was told that it needed a 2.5 .....this was perfect...works fine...fits my ear...and I can hear....Yeah!!
This has always been my favorite headset for my sell phone. The sound is clear and perfect. The cost on this site is far less then getting it in any retail store.
This hands-free device is comfortable, has excellent sound quality and in my opinion is overall a good value for the money. The part that actually goes in the ear came in a few different sizes, which was good since we don't all have the same size ear canal. I don't feel like it's going to fall out or pop out of my ear at any second like I have with some others I have tried. I would (and do!) recommend it.
The Jabra C250 is the most comfortable and audible headset I have ever used. I work 12 hour shifts and wear my headset the entire time. Even when worn with my glasses, it is so comfortable, I forget it is there. The gel earpiece fits snuggly and comfortably, allowing me to hear my caller clearly, while preventing ambiant noise from affecting the call. My cell phone company discontinued carrying this model so I stocked up through Overstock. It was a great deal! Only drawback I have found in the past with the same model(not the one I purchased from Overstock) is that if you drop your phone and it yanks the cord, the fragile wire will break inside after about 5 drops. At $30-$40 that's a problem. At Overstock's price, it's almost a disposable headset. By the way, I've had this one for several weeks and dropped it many times. It is still working like a charm! Way to go, Overstock!
Fit ear great, sound great, BUT it stopped working after 2 weeks, just stopped, BIG let down.
