This bluetooth may not be attractive, but it is definitly worth the price. I have used this product for 3 months now and have had no problems. Sound quality is clear with good volume controls. Color coded light lets you know the battery level. Turn on the device and answer your calls just by extending the "Boom". Terminate the call by pushing the boom back to its original position. This Jabra is rugged and built well compared to Motorola products. Takes 2 hours to charge for about 3-4 hours of use. Stand by lasts for about 3 days if device is not used. This Jabra 5010 has a vibrate alert, which can be startling at first. I found this Jabra to be easy to pair with my Nokia. I will never go back to Motorolla bluetooths.
I like this piece overall but just wish that the ear piece was better. Starts to hurt my ear after wearing for more than 15 minutes.
Ease of operation, sound quality both for me and person talking to good. However, ear attachment is difficult to adjust so that it is totally secure on the ear.
Comfortable, light, easy to use. It has the best reception of any bluetooth I have owned.
audio could be better when driving. seems to work better inside
Its a little complicated to work in that there is a tap, press, and press and hold action, which all do different tasks. But its a nice little design, and pull out boom. Fits snugly to the ear, but the sound quality isn't great. You can hear fine from it, but it gets a bit staticy. This headset does have a lot of features, most of which I don't know how to use, but overall a pretty good product for the price. I recommend it!
Jabra 5010 Bluetooth Headset is a quality product. I have Sony, Motorola and Samsung bluetooth headsets before and the Jabra is one of the best headsets that I own. It sounds clear for both sides (call and receive). Easy to pair with Motorola cell phone but refuse to pair with my Nokia 5300 (It paired but will not start). Finally, I paired it with my wife's Motorola cell phone and she loves it. The Jabra 5010 takes charge well, it lasts about 3 days with usages and stand by. The cons of this product are the size and weight of the unit. The ear loop is hard to adjust to make it comfortable to wear. If you bent down to pick up something and it will fall right off.
I purchased two of these things-- They fit good around the ear as they are adjustable, the sound is good and clear but I have had trouble keeping a connection with both of them. I connect the first time and it'll stay connected all day until i use it. The it'll drop me in the middle of a call and wont reconnect to my phone. The other one i brought for my boyfriend and he has an iphone and has had similar problems with his. It's too much of a headache to deal with so I haven't been using it much lately.
All together this is a good headset. Pros: Vibrate feature is nice, unit is fairly small, battery life has been good, charger seems well constructed with strong cord. Cons: Unit is uncomfortable for extended wear, audio is very hard to hear at times (Yes... with the volume completely up), hard to put on and take off quickly, and others state that it can be difficult to hear me when talking at times with regular road noise (which is why I bought it!). I have only had experience with a very early model Motorola that I was not happy with (about 5 years ago). This unit is much better than that one and better than ones I have tried recently. I just wish it had more padding on the ear piece or fit in the outer ear more easily. I will continue to use this unit despite the cons... just not as much as I would if it were more comfortable!
