This headphone was a replacement for another volume control set that I had. With the mp3 songs at different levels, it's nice to be able to control the volume. Little did I know that the volume control was going to be the size and weight of a brazil nut. This is not the headphones you want to purchase if you want to use them for running on a treadmill. Now I have to McGyver a way to keep it from flopping around.
