Hello Everyone, If you¿re thinking about purchasing a camcorder and have no clue which one to get please purchase this one. You will not be disappointed! I did a fair amount of research before I selected this one and I could not be happier. It is so easy to operate. I like the hard drive for convenience and hours of video time. No disks to fuss with or other little things to worry about or make sure you have on hand. The video quality is very good!! As is the sound! I have not try to download it to disk but I am pretty sure it will be easy as everything else has been. I did hook it up to the computer to view and it was so easy. A no brainer! You do have to charge the battery once you receive it but it doesn¿t take too long. Just to let you know, I am not one to read instructions and I was able to operate this almost immediately! I can¿t wait to read the instructions to see what else this handy camcorder can do! Another great product at a great price Overstocks.com! Thank you!!

We are so glad we moved away from tape-based camcorders. It always seemed like we had to put "buy tapes" on our to-do list at the busiest times of the year.This product works great, it's lightweight, and basically easy to use. Already we're using it more often than our old camcorder.

Cute color, small size, very happy with purchase. Had a hard time initially getting what I had recorded to play on the TV, but once that was figured out, it's been smooth sailing. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I loved the camera. My daugter loved it so much, she took it over. The only 'bad' thing I can say is we tried to get additional cables for it and that has proved nearly impossible.

This camcorder has worked great since the day we got it. We have had it for over 2 years now and it still works like new. The videos are wonderful quality and although I don't use it often for still shots since I have a Nicon for that, the still shots that I have taken are pretty nice as well. It is compact and light weight so it goes anywhere. I am even able to shove it in my coat pocket and not drag a camera bag around.

I have had this camera for about two weeks now and really enjoy it. The only problems I've faced is it does not make a loud enough 'click' when it is on a timer shoot. We could not hear whether the picture had been taken or not.

I am not very technology savy and this camera is not easy to operate. After reading others reviews I felt good about the purchase. However, it has not lived up to the reviews of others. We bought it to film my daughters wedding and reception. The wedding was outside and filmed beautifully,but after lights were dimmed at the reception, even with the camera light on, we can't make out any of the dance portion of the reception. I am not impressed by this camera and would not recommend it to anyone.

Don't wait jump on this deal today. I have used JVC camcorders since the monster VHS recorders. I still have my S-VHC recorder but the tapes cost too much money. This is why I purchased the JVC with the built in hard drive. No tapes to buy no head to clean. As long as you have a good software program installed on your computer it's a plug and play. This unit is small and I mean small. I store ours in a extra camera lens pouch. The video quality is not HD but the price and quality of this unit is very nice on your pocket. A few extra things to keep in mind when buying. Purchase a 30.5 lens filter to protect the lens from dirt and damage. Make sure the unit is a JVS reburb. JVC warranty is for 90 days the other guys you might get 30 days.
