This is a bare drive. Make sure you get the faceplate if you're going to install this the first time. You'll also need the drive kit to make this 3.5-inch device fit in a 5-inch slot. Other than that, there's almost nothing to do to install this drive. Slide it into an empty drive bay, connect the wires (data and power), and you're done.
