An easy and valuable Mac Pro upgrade
I purchased this processor to upgrade my 2010 Mac Pro base 2.8GHz model. I was looking for more horsepower but didn't want to invest $1200 in the "Westmere" processors. The process took me about 30 minutes to complete and now I have a 3.2GHz - 6-core Mac screamer. After selling the original processor on ****, the whole upgrade cost me about $345. Well worth it, I'd say.
