I had an old socket 478 that only supported a 533MHz bus speed. This processor is the only Northwood that supports hyper-threading in that configuration and also the fastest clock speed of about 3.06Ghz. This processor also come with the fan and heatsink, so it's a good value. The processor also shipped quickly and everything was in place.
