Works great. I have tried it with iPod Nano (1st gen) and iPod Video (5th gen), but it says on the description it is compatible with many other iPods. Here's what I did and both the audio/visual worked. - Plug cord into headphone jack, other 3 cords into TV. - Audio should work immediately. - To display photos, start at the main iPod menu. 1) Click center to select Photos 2) Click center to select Photo Library 3) Click PLAY/PAUSE to start a slideshow 4) Slideshow begins onscreen. (To change slideshow settings: click photos-> click slideshow settings.) -To display video, start at the main iPod menu. 1) Click center to select Videos 2) Click center to select Settings 3) Click center to change settings so it says: TV Out, TV Signal NTSC. 4) Click menu to return to Videos 5) Select a video, press play/pause to play that video. I purchased this product to show pictures and videos to family on a tv. This product DOES NOT WORK. I get nothing! DON'T BUY IT!!! Worst waste of money!

Was worried this would not work for my samsung galaxy s vibrant. But worked like a charm. only downer is it looks very easy to break. the wires at the top that split are very thin...also the retractable cable is funky not like you would expect with the other reviews on this site. But the point is it works! and since the OEM cable is around 66 dollars this is a steal for the price i wish i bought acouple just in case mine breaks!

To use this device on the Zune 80, you need to go into settings, display and turn the tv out to on. Once I did that it works good.

This item was described as being able to play video from an ipod through a TV. It does NOT do this. It only plays audio. It was also described as being able to display photos. Nada on that one too. It's a piece of garbage.

this cable worked great for the first few months after I bought it. But because the cables are so thin and not supported near the plugs, the cords started to come out of the sockets and the tv would not read the ipod image anymore. I guess the cords were not thick enough to last a long time without damage/problems.

Wires were broken when we recieved this item. Not worth sending back.

This is a great product that works very well. The retractable cord is especially handy.

Works perfectly on my Zune. The retractor is a cool feature- no more tangling. I wish it were longer- its only about 2 feet long.

This product isn't compatible with the 3rd generation ipod nano. If you have one, don't purchase this product; save yourself the trouble and find one that will connect via the USB port on your ipod (or, rather, where you plug in the chord that has the USB on the end of it, which plugs into your computer's USB port).
