Too many problems with ink cartridges and slow print time led me to Monochrome laser printers. After careful reading many reviews I decided to get the OKI B411d. I got the best deal at overstock.com. This machine was made to crank out 80,000 pages per month. Setup was easy . It uses the same desk space as my former inkjet printer. Print speed is awesome at 35 ppm. I particularly like the duplex print feature. This allows 2 sided printing without having to remove the pages and flip them and reinsert to get the reverse printed. I have emerged from the dark ages of printers. Only complaint is; why does every manufacturer of toner copiers sell their machines with a "starter cartridge" ? How much do they really save?

this printer is much better than the all in one model, and for the price has a very good quality. ink doesn't smear and the printout looks great. the only drawback is that the printer is a little slow in the actual printing process. This is a minor issue with me and this printer is lightweight and easy to set up, color is really good, but it does only print an nothing else. Personally i prefer seperate units

I am not a very high tech person and I followed the easy directions printed in the box and it worked the first time. I even went to work the following day and bragged to co workers how easy and wonderful the printer is. I would recommend this printer to everyone.

I am tech savvy yet this printer set up got the best of me, I am afraid. The set up was mired w/unusual instructions - the printer cartridges sounded like they were grinding across the slider, I am guessing perhaps a manufacturing defect on this issue??? The alignment of cartridges was impossible, that is why I am guessing there is a defect, but instructions on alignment were difficult to achieve/understand, I believe it may be a language translation issue that made the alignment a nightmare. Every time I tried to trouble shoot an ad would come on screen wanting me to buy Epson products or sign on for Epson sales products - really? can I get it installed first? Do not buy this product if you want to enjoy your day. Buy this product if you want to spend two hours in complete frustration, hahah! Going back - not for another Epson product though.

This printer has bold and vivid colors. It is not the fastest color printer on the market. It is very solid and should be a dependable for a long time. It is also Linux compatible.

I purchased this printer, not as a photo printer, but because I am an internal auditor that travels every week and need to produce quality reports while on the road. The Canon PIXMA iP100 has performed like a champ.

Disappointed that it eats ink like crazy! Great quality pics for only 8 pics, any size, then ink quality goes down. Printer recycles more than any I have ever had in 20 yrs., not sure if this is good or bad.

This is a very good printer. The only problem I have found is that the black ink runs out relatively quick. I had to order a new cartridge within the month I recieved the printer. I do NOT do a lot of copying. The printer is worth the price because it really delivers great copies. Ink cartridges do not cost as much as other printer ink refill cartridges I have owned. It is not a scanner. If you want to scan pictures to your computer, forget it. I purchased the Epson scanner for that. Together they are just wonderful.
