I bought this in the hopes of extending the battery life of my portable DVD player (for which I cannot buy a replacement battery) There was not enough information when I purchased this product to know if it was compatible w/ my DVD player other than it was compatible w/ most players. And w/ 3 different connectors I thought one would fit... but it doesn't. I also bought another portable DVD player on sale and it's not compitable either. It would be nice if I could just purchase another adapter without having to return the entire product... because I still need a battery. I gave this product 2 stars because it's a great idea if only it would work w/ my players!

This unit comes with several adapters that fix most portable DVD players (but not all I would guess). It works great with our jWin (jWin bought out Duracraft) DVD player. It says it can last up to 5 hours, but the most we have seen is about 3 1/2. I would bet it depends on the model DVD player you hook it up to, but since the internal battery lasts for 2 1/2 hours, we get a total of 6 hours playing time, which is about 3 DVD movies worth. And you can't beat the price!

A very good purchase, and the price is right also. I am glad this item met my expectations. What I loved most, were the three adapters that came with it. With this one is sure to fit your dvd player.

I wasn't sure this battery would work becuase the price was so low compared to others I was looking at but it works great so far. My daughter uses it for her portable DVD player which is a Dynex. She can watch two movies on it no problem. It was a great deal for the price!

Used this battery on a 9in Sony Portable DVD Player for a long flight from the East Coast to Hawaii. Used the battery for just over 3 hours and it still had about 75% charge remaining! Was a great buy for extending the battery life. Came with all of the cords, plug-ins and adapters needed.

I tested this battery by fully charging it then using it on an uncharged player. It played for more than 5 hours which I think is fantastic, especially for the price. Periodically I take long trips and the battery life of my player is limitted so I got this to be able to use it even longer. This was a great investment and I highly recommend it.

I bought this battery for my 3 year old, so he could watch his movies while we were flying from Texas to California. The original battery that came with his dvd player would only last 1 hour which wouldn't make it through one movie. This battery not only lasted the 3 1/2 hour flight, but there was enough charge in it for him to watch other movies while traveling in the car that day. I would say that the batttery ran for a total of 5 hours and I still had to discharge it that night before recharging it the next day. I highly recommend this battery.

This is a very good product and very reasonably priced for the mAh stored (5400). It is a sleek design and comes with multiple leds that show the level of charge on the unit. The only problem is the lack of specific information on which DURABRAND DVD players it supports. The literature says *most*. Mine is a DUR-10 which has a 10 inch screen and this unit (the RB-270) does not have an adapter to fit this model. I called customer support to see if they had additional adapters to send and they do not. So I had to cut and solder the cable to the old wires from the dead DUR-10 battery. This was OK frankly as you cannot get batteries for this DVD player anymore and the RB-270 is a much better solution, especially for the money.The customer support person told me that the adapters supplied with the product support the 8 and 9 inch DURABRAND DVD players.
