  I bought these speakers to hook up to a small TV. Nothing in the advertisement said they would not work. When they arrived, I found out that they would not work with the my TV. So, I returned them and incurred a return shipping charge that was due to the lack of information provided on the Overstock web site. As you can imagine, as a long time Overstock customer, this did not make me happy. I always attempt to only order those items that I need, but I also need sufficient information from Overstock to help me out. In this case I got no help so I paid over $$$ dollars just for the privilege of looking at these speakers. I will be very careful and very hesitant to purchase any similar items in the future, or I when in doubt I will buy them from ***, who does not make me pay for their mistakes.

  I wanted a wireless speaker I could take to different parts of my house or even outside which could receive audio from a TV program. When I shave & shower in the morning, I want to be able to hear the news from the TV. Or working outside in the storeroom. Whatever. Although this device is for an umbrella, I find it to be a perfect solution to listen to TV (or any audio device) from room to room. It has great range and clearity. I've had similar products but they did not have the range or sound quality. It is a terrific portable speaker at a great price
