Great for its intended purpose
The Boogie Board is a great tool to replace scrap pieces of paper. Use it to jot temporary notes, erase, and then reuse. The color of the writing is not as vivid as it looks in the picture (that would take a lot of effort). But if you are just looking to scribble notes, then this is perfect. Of course, my preschooler also likes to use it and I like that I don't have to waste paper for doodling. I also bought the travel pouch, which comes with an eraser protector to avoid unintentional erasures.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Image on site is deceiving because the strokes would have to be very bold to show up that vividly
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Quality is fine. Still in perfect shape after daily use for about a year.

Not impressed!
When I got this yesterday I opened it immediately to check it out because I had ordered it as a Christmas gifts for my teenage daughter. I was very disappointed to see that the letters do not glow as it seem to do in the picture of the product you put on here. In fact if your not in a well lit room you can barely see the writing. Im debating on sending it back I was highly disappointed and its not worth the money I paid for it. Its more like a toy you get at the dollar store. The only cool thing about it is when you press a button the writing is erased but thats about it.
