works just like it is supposed to. I like that it has a little blue light on it, so i just turn it downward and it lights up the floor with a soft glow. you know when your driving and you dont really want to turn on the overhead lights, it helps with little things like putting your cup back into the cup holder or pluging in your phone so it can charge!
