Good machine; definitely, will utilize more RAM and that is fremedied by removing the face plate and inserting additional RAM; Problem is that the screen is dark and the resolution is better on many newer machines, that advertise as "ultra-bright"; this machine is afterall at least 5 years (2006) technology. It was the best of the Lenovo/IBM line at the time. it's also not wide screen and therefore I miss the extra screen real estate when doing research using a notebook as the system. That said, it's what it is, and those are the downsides to this machine compared to more current think pad models; be sure and compare to wide screen models and better resoluion screens, now available.
I am extremely pleased with this laptop and the price I paid for it . The only reason for not rating the "Features" higher was that it came with only half a gig of memory however that was easily and inexpensively resolved by simply adding more memory.A friend who owns a couple of computer repair shops also felt this was a very good buy at a good price.
This T60 comes fully loaded with plenty of storage and memory, plus wireless internet. The only downside is that it didn't have Windows Office installed, but that was easily remedied. We had it up and running in a matter of minutes.
