I bought this laptop for my 13 yr old granddaughter. She is thrilled with it and uses it for several hours every day. It does everything that she needed from a computer.

When I ordered a refurbished laptop I wasn't sure what to expect. When it arrived, though, the laptop was immaculate. The restore CD was missing, but after 1 email, some very prompt and courteous replies, and less than a week later, I had the restore disk. My experience dealing with Overstock was fantastic. This laptop is great value: good looking, satin screen is just what I wanted, fast enough for me, and hopefully reliable. I looked at newer laptops, but I didn't like the slick body shells, garish colors, ugly designs, glossy screens, and the fact I'd have to shell out for Windows 7 when that came out. Good luck.

I'm self-employed, so getting a good computer at a reasonable price to replace my 5-year-old retail laptop was important. I'd been watching sale ads but couldn't find a decent laptop for under $700. I bought the T43 and MAN! - what a great decision. It reminds me of the commercial grade laptops I used when I was a corporate wonk. The screen is more square than rectangular; the keys have a nice "bounce" (as opposed to the soft "squish" my older laptop had) and it's really light-weight. It also shipped earlier than expected - another bonus! My only complaint: it didn't ship with a user manual geared towards the technology-challenged. I'm really pleased with it and hope it lasts a long time. A strong recommendation from me!

I purchased 2 in 2009 and they are still in great condition. But the windows OS has not faired so well, but that is expected of the inferior. Both units have the OS reset 3 times so far. The units have been very durable my wife dropped hers but the small repair to the lower right hand buttons was an easy fix showing the durability if the IBM Think Pad. We both are very happy about our laptops. When we had an issue with a battery Over stock was on the ball and made the replacement quickly and without issue.

Bang for the buck, this is a great product. I love this computer. I consider it one of the best computers that I have ever used and it was under $300.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. I don't think he realizes that he got other presents. Has used it all day since he opened it. Once he got past all the set-up screens, it works great for what he needs and wants to do. A great value and a great deal!

Softwear sent with computer does not function/ code with disc does not match. Can't use computer as is. Can you correct problem? Nice looking computer but worthless as is.

This laptop is refurbished and it looks and works like a brand new computer. Fast delivery and this is a very powerful laptop. Very happy I made this purchase.

yes I didn't notice the ad didn't say but a battery was not included . wouldn't reccomend anyone buy a machine without any battery at all . was very dissappointed . buyer beware , don't assume anything .

Laptop I purchased was delivered quickly and in near new condition. I thought a refurb would be much less than what I received. Truely a plug and play experience! This is the best bang for the buck I have found in computing and we all know how tough bucks are to come by these days! Highly recommended!

Everything is great about the laptop; however, when Overstock shipped the product to us, it was missing the red ball finger mouse pointer on the center of the keyboard. This made using the finger ball mouse tracker un-useable, and makes the laptop looked refurbished and defective.

This laptop is compact...the size of a notebook, but has a dvd drive and more power and features than the newer netbooks. I am very satisfied with this machine, which retailed for $2100.00 when new. It was delivered within a week, and was very easy to set up.I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded a free manual, so that problem was solved.Thanks Overstock!

This was a great choice for the right price. I wish I had discovered it earlier. I would buy it over and over again.

Laptop arrived within days of ordering. The only problem is it crashed right after installation before i installed a virus protection, probebly because its refurbished! Other wise I am happy !

Got this laptop for 9 year old grandson...been asking for one, and I did not want to spend a lot of money.Fits the bill nicely, and he loves it. No gaming machine, but more than adequate for online stuff.

I purchased this computer expecting that it would be an Avg computer. I was very suprised when I started using the computer.I work at a job where I have to have many programs open at once... even with all these programs open the computer is still fast.The only thing though was that I wish it would have come with more memory... I had to purchase extra removable memory...Dont be fooled by the price...This is a great business computer at a great price...I am very happy with my purchase!!!And I think from now on I will only purchase IBM.
