Fast, very portable, very good wireless connectivity--plus came with XP (I trust the Vista name much less than the IBM name). The battery even holds for 2-3 hours. Good value with a brand name that inspires trust.

The T42 laptop is an excellent value. You can tell Thinkpad quality over anything else. It's fast, quiet and powerful. I have it setup to dual-boot into XP and Ubuntu. The Ubuntu installed perfectly, even the wireless worked with no hassles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Good value. Pentium M 1.7 meg is quick and does not get as hot as other processers. It has 2 slots for RAM. I added a gig stick of RAM easily for $30 and computer runs as well as my other laptop that cost over 3 times as much.

this is a xmas present. and i was so happy and surprised with the quality and appeareace.and it is so easy to set up and use .i love the bigger keys.and a good price.

It`s alright but sometimes it doesn`t want to connect to my home wireless modem. Other then that it serves it`s purpose.
