My 9 year old IBM Etherjet 10/100 card with the dongle was getting intermittent - the dongle had been bumped too often. This looked like an improvement. It arrived in a week - IBM FRU number on it. I was worried about having to install new drivers, and there were none supplied. I disabled the old card (not working), removed it and installed the new card, and enabled it. I immediately got my network connection back - no drivers, no issues, it just works! Tech life just doesn't get much better than this. And the flush-mount jack on the card is totally protected. Excellent isn't a strong enough word for this item!
