Best one yet
OK, I've tried several different portable scanners, one from this site. None of them compared to this one, not even remotely. Some had poor software,, others no customer support, and another wouldn't scan anything legible. The software with this one is great, but it also scans very well. (The last one I had wouldn't scan receipts, but the IRIS does really well with anything I feed into it.) The software recognizes key words, and will look up your documents according to any key word. What a great way to get rid of all the paperwork that sits around your house! I wanted something like the Neat Desk, but didn't want to pay $$$ or $$$. This was the perfect answer.

Great Little Scanner
Okay this is a great little scanner. Small compact and clear copies. Even of small receipts. Would recommend for someone looking for a home scanner. Only gave it four stars for two reasons. One it is a bit slow and two if you have a Macbook you can't get it to go directly into the Microsoft Office applications. They don't have a disk for loading that. There is a work around the system but its a pain. I think the organization aspects are more suited to a PC and not the ***.

Exellent photo scanner!
Top of the line photo scanner. Small to put away when not using instead of big, balky scanners! Easy to use. Good quality scans. Fast. Simple to use. It was an excellent Christmas gift for my husband, but the whole family uses it. Scan away. Perfect gift for everyone - no matter what age!

I wanted it to work
It did not work with my computer. My PC did not match the minimum requirements. I wished that it did because I really wanted it to work and needed it. Now I have to return it. I am concerned that I missed the system minimum requirements on the website. Maybe it was there and I did not notice. Nonetheless my system advises me that the product is just incompabitable. Again I did want it to work. Sorry for any misspelling of words

Easy to use
The product was easy to set up once I found out which disc I had to use for my mac. It scans right away and you have the option of creating a name for it before you even start your scan.
