We upgraded our home theater and got these to use as space was an issue. Being a fairly unknown brand and also that inexpensive, I was hesitant to spend the money on them. But don't hesitate! They are well worth it. The sound is excellent. Not what you would hear in an actual theater, but let's compare apples to apples. They are pretty beefy. Alot heavier than I had expected. They have to go through a break in period, like all good speakers do. Once you do that you'll be super impressed with the sound. My only disappointment with this speaker system is that I had expected to get a specific center channel speaker, but instead I got three front speakers. But that is minor. Get these speakers and you will not be disappointed!!

this is a ok start to home theater systems I had to sell my system in the past but am starting to rebuild so found this to be a good system for the starts of my rebuild. the sub has to be lowered or you get a flat thump but the rest of the speakers are ok

I got the box in the mail and everything looked intake. Took out all components and inspected, all looked great. Mounted speakers and positioned the main component and hooked all wires up. Ran the setup process and watched AVITAR. WOW very nice sound indeed. All in all this is a great system, only one small drawback and that's the reaction time between the system and the remote control is slow, I would press pause and it would take a second or so for the component to respond to that command to take in effect.

This is an inexpensive way to add home theater speakers to your house, but the subwoofer is sub-par. It does not have the same single subwoofer cable hookups as with other subwoofers (ie requires a splitter) and is hardly audible once it is hooked up. The surround speakers are ok, just a bit tinny.... but I guess that you get what you pay for. Long term I will replace the subwoofer with a better one, but for now these will do.

This system is similar to a Bose system, the construstion was not bad. In this comparison sound was more open, at higher levels clean. I do not normally listen to any materials at loud levels, at times movies for fun. This system so far is not bad not bad at all, and the price well money well spent. The balance in over all sound was good, of course it is not a large system so it has it's limits, the bass unit could be better but again for the cost not bad at all, in a nut shell pleasantly surprised. I have been into audio for allot of years and it can get crazy, most times the simple neutral sounding speakers are the best. Liked the system well enough that I ordered a larger center channel same brand Pyle and so far like it!!

Had this system running for a couple weeks and have been really pleased. Hooked them up to a Denon AVR 1912 and truly was shocked at how good they sound. The speakers arrived in their factory boxes, not protected in bigger boxes as I was hoping, but all was fine. What I received was slightly different than advertised, but it worked out to my advantage. I got 5 of the same speaker, all the Premier Acoustic 4.4. The sound for the center channel is great just the same. The sub came as the PA 120, so a 12 in instead of a 10 in, and with more power. Not gonna complain about this one at all. The sound they produce is truly amazing for the money. Whether it be normal TV, music or a BluRay I am never disappointed. I mentioned to Overstock I found them cheaper somewhere else, and they matched the price, so do a quick google before ordering. All in all, couldn't be happier.

I had studied and studied how to build a theater room. As it turns out there really is a bit of science.to it. Anyway I was on a budget as it was part of a basement finish I was doing. I was skeptical when I ordered this system but again I was on a budget. I installed it now one year ago and still am astounded at how well it sounds. The sub woofer delivers nice deep sound and the wall speakers have tremendous range. I know it sounds corky but I found the ultimate test to be the Transformers movie I watched with my wife and son. The movie truly is an experience turned up. Knowing what I know now I think if you are looking for a great theater experience and aren't interested in impressing with some name, then buy this. I will guarantee this system will impress. Note theater room is 10 *14 and I have the 6,5 drivers with a 8 inch sub.

When I ordered this item, I didn't know what I was ordering, thought it cold hook up my speakers system, so I could hear the TV better. When I received two of them, which I only wanted one, but due to a mistake on my part, I ordered 5 of them, but I saw my mistake and called PayPal, who informed me they would take care of. They didn't....Anyway, I received two of them and after explaining my problem to one of your reps , he told me he would take care of, which he did. My credit card was charged a total of around $150, of which it was finally returned and credited to my account. This was finally resolved about a month later, which I appreciated very much. I didn't get your reps name, but he was very efficient and promptly took care of my problem. He even provided me with two forms so I could return the two items at no cost to me. I will be more careful the next time I order something from you all....This report is rated poor because it wasn't clear to me what I was ordering Thanks again, DJ

We bought this system to use in our basement workshop. It has turned out perfect for us. The radio we had been using got very poor reception, where the reception on this system is very good. The CD function works well too. We are pleased with this product.

Everything about the product felt sub-par. The speakers have small scuff marks on them. While it came with brackets for the four speakers (but no way to mount the front speaker if you desired), it didn't come with screws?! Came with a very small amount of wiring and the single page of instructions was torn and in poor shape. None of this taken alone is a huge deal, just feels shabby and means a trip to home depot and best buy is in order before you can do anything with these Also, as was eluded to by someone else, the bass sounds muflled not crisp.

It took a little playing with different settings to get it to work with the stereo and with the television, but once we figured out the settings, it worked wonderfully! Now here is hoping my husband doesn't blow the windows out of the house!!

The system is compact and easy to place in a small space. It's never going to rival the output of a full size stereo system but it's a great alternative for small spaces and is super easy to assemble!

First I must say that using the overstocked.com was excellent. Ordering online from another country, especially with a large package is always risky. Overstocked.com did the job masterfully, with a clear ordering system and very fast shipping. The option to pay all the taxes and duties at the time of purchase just made the process even better. I knew the entire cost out front before I clicked the final purchase button. It got to NZ within a week which blew me away as it was a large item. I am very happy with the stereo. It was a reasonable cost. The power output is excellent. It looks good in the living room. The sound quality is more than good enough for me, but may not be fantastic for some perfectionists. The unit is very easy to operate with one slight annoying feature. To turn off the unit with the remote you have to push the sleep button several times to cycle the sleep times to "on". Other than that I highly recommend the Stereo and Overstocked.com
