  This was not my first choice tower speaker, but the one I intended to purchase was no longer available. I chose this one as the closest to the original model I had seen before and was absolutely delighted when it arrived. It's great to be able to use it as a radio as well as to play my iPod and iPhone, and the charging station is a real bonus. Definitely one of my favorite online purchases!

  I purchased two stands, as packaged. Needed to use for fairly large, wood/plastic rear surround speakers of a weight near (or possibly over) specified weight tolerance. With simple modifisation of speaker attachment for balance, I found these stands to be very sturdy, particularly at this price point. Base weight more than ample for most reasonable applications. Support rods adjusrable and sturdy. Easily modified if you are clever.

  this is a ok start to home theater systems I had to sell my system in the past but am starting to rebuild so found this to be a good system for the starts of my rebuild. the sub has to be lowered or you get a flat thump but the rest of the speakers are ok
