When I bought my new LCD TV, Blu-Ray player, receiver, etc, I was talked into needing the store's big mamma jamma surge protector for $130. I couldn't believe that price and felt cheated, so went home to search Overstock. This product has a higher surge capacity rating, is better shaped, and color coded with labels for your cords. I couldn't NOT save money, so I returned the one I bought at the store and ordered this online immediately. I had it within 4 days and am glad I made the switch. This surge protector really locks in the cord prongs- it's a tight fit to get them in, but you know they won't accidentally get yanked out if you need to move furniture or putt devices off the shelf. It has built in notches so you can use screw to mount it in your media cabinet so it is out of sight and easy to reach.
