I get a very good signal, less disconnects than my older PCI based Netgear adapter. I like the fact that this is USB. The chipset is RealTek, so compatability is there. I'm using W7 64bit. The attenna is thinner than the picture, but no big deal. Good quality for a good price.

This item works well. I'm using it 2 floors away from the wifi unit and gets pretty good signal.

Bought this so my parents could pick up my internet, but didn't work for us here, but took it to work and works great out there... just depends on the power of the router I guess.....I love it!

Great service and shipping. Adapter has extension cable and antenna, a real plus.

This unit does perform well, as specifed. The workmanship leaves a little to be desired though, the glue to hold in the base magnet, was very week and let go the first time I used it, I put on a little JB Weld and every thing is fine. Easy to setup, just update drives after installing drivers that come with unit, as they are newer drivers on the internet. Range and signal was excellent. I will probably buy a second unit for my other computer. I gave 4 stars due to having to re-glue magnet, but performance would be 5 stars. Mike

After trying for several different solutions to get a good wireless signal within a church building I tried this Hiro H50194. It worked very well. I was able to get a better signal than we have ever had before. To get good reception though I was able to use a USB extension cable to give me what I needed. Setup was quick and effective. Thanks Hire & Overstock for a great product.
