  This is more of just a mic than a headset. The volume level of the single-ear headphone cannot get very high, and the quality of the sound is nothing to write home about. However, the microphone is solid, and is hard to beat at this low price. I used one of these heavily for three years before the mic stopped working. Most people own a nice pair of headphones nowadays - I'd suggest using those (plugged into/wirelessly paired with TV) for gaming. You can easily change a setting on your PS3 so that the output audio comes through your TV, and not the single-ear headphone of the headset. The wire isn't excessively long, so you may need to move your PS3 away from your TV if your TV is quite large.

  as soon as i saw them i knew i had to have them! if you like to listen to music, talk hands free or play online, then these are for you! i could not believe how light and comfy they were when i put them on and if you are a dancer like me, you will love that they stay on no matter what! the product info on this item is exactlly as they say all in all, i would buy them again in a heartbeat! as a matter of fact i will buy another pair in the pink color! the sound quallty is awesome! no matter how high you like to listen to your music, and the voice quallty is no different! if you like what you see, buy them! you will not be sorry you did, i hope this helps you and i hope you will buy them, i'm sure you will love them as much as i do!

  I bought this item for the mike only, to use for voice recognition, so I can't form an opinion regarding sound quality through the phones. They stay in place and the mike works well. I'm happy.

  I found no problem with this refurbished product. It lacked the original packaging and software, which was available from the internet. Otherwise it appears to be a new product.
