I have 2 teenagers with smartphones. They need headphones every time I turn around. I purchased two packs of these headphones (6 total) and the boys like them. I have previously purchased the plain blue (non metallic) color. It is good to keep on hand. They work well, I have had no problem talking on the phone with the microphone. The sound is find, not bose but good enough to hear music and podcasts. I also use them to listen to stuff on my laptop. If you poke holes in the bottom of 2 styrofoam cups and stick a head phone speaker in each, you can have mini speakers as well.

I bought 2 packs of these for myself and 3 kids, and so far, so good, after about 2 months. My DD broke a pair, because she sleeps with them on and undoubtedly damaged them that way. Mine and the other 2 kids' earbuds are fine. Not the best quality, and sometimes they slip out of my ears while working out, but at this price, can't complain.

I just didn't have luck with these at all. I tried all three and they just keep popping out of my ear. So it definitely defeats the purpose of trying to be hands free.

They are good for music and the phone. They dont get super loud and when you push the button the phone dont go on and off like it should, u know the button u usually answer the phone with. Other than that they're awesome for the price!

These headphones do not stay in my ears. Any slight movement of your head and they fall right out.. Also, it is really a bit odd with the different spacing of the earbuds to the cord, with one so much longer. The sound as been ok so far with the one that I have used. I will keep it around for a spare set but will be using the other Apple type headsets that I purchased from Overstock.

the blue pair had the best,sound, gold pair was ok, red pair was very bad.

These headphones with mics are awesome. Great sound, and the mic works perfectly. Very clear audio on both ends.

These are a great for a gift, what teenager doesn't nedd or want an estra set of 'buds with a mic" !!

These are great headphones. U cant go wrong with it. Like for this price. I think its a great deal.

I ordered these headphones when the "iPhone" look-a-likes were out of stock. They are about what I expected, not the greatest quality, but they do as advertised. I truly didn't like the black "ear-plug" aspect of it, which was made of flimsy plastic. Also, shockingly to me, the right ear extension was longer than the other. The shorter extension, the left side, hangs with all the weight as the right extension hangs limply...

I gave these to my 13 year old. She has not broken any yet. They were in her xmas stocking. There was something with the microphone that she was not totally enthusiastic about I do not know what. But she use the headphones constantly so I think that says they work well. The price was great!

I am hard on phone earbuds. I just break them. I bought these because the price was right and they work just fine. I have had no complains from the other end of the line either.

I got these in a timely manner, the price was right and three pairs of something that gets lost or broken too often

the red one was the only one that i had that actually worked properly the others had sound equality problems because the left would be about 30% quieter that the right bud

@ashleynichole: The reason one wire is longer than the other is that it is meant to go behind your neck so the cord dangles from one side. I don't like this arrangement personally, but many people do. I find that the wire on your neck gets stuck to your neck when your neck perspires, as it will if you work out, or outside on a hot summer day. Then when you turn your head the wire won't move and the earbud will get pulled out of your ear.

One side is way longer than the other. I do not understand why it is so much longer. Other than that they are great...

The packaging was a little ratty, just in a plastic sandwich bag, maybe a small box would have been better. way they would have had less chance of being crushed. This could be the reason the headphone did not work.

Headphones come in cute colors, they are not plastic which helps since they can bend more easily. The quality isn't the best but for the price and what I needed them for, they are perfect!
