This case is much sturdier and of better quality than the ones I had seen in stores. It has an internal velcro strap to hold your GPS unit in place so it does not get jostled which is a plus. I only wish it had a little more room to hold the cord that plugs into your lighter. I have lifetime traffic with my GPS. The receiver is located on the cord so it is bulkier than your standard cord. If you don't have this feature, this case will fit your needs wonderfully.

This hard dri ve case is perfect for the portable external hard drive I ordered at the same time. It is vey well made and will be quite handy when traveling. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good protection for a portable hard drive.

The Hard Shell case is exactly what I wanted to protect my GPS from damage should I drop it.The GPS and it's power cord both fit into the case. The mount does not fit in the caseI would recommend this item to anyone who wants to protect something like a GPS or small computer hard drive.

Would recommend to a friend, it is a hard shell case much like a piece of hard side luggage, without the wheels....and much smaller!
