  Product installed very clean. MS drivers installed. System (XP Pro) did hang a few times with new PCI usb 2.0 installed. Still subject PCI usb 2.0 as touble spot. May have address problem?

  The quality appears good, but the item did not work. I run win 7 and upon istalling according to the VERY POOR instructions, my box locked up and I was forced to remove it. After that, no issues...

  I would recommend this to anyone needing a Firewire connection. It has the 1394A 400mbps connection but not the newer 1394B 800mbps so be aware of that. Also, because of its smaller size you'll need to make sure that it you get a good snug connection.
