The case is sturdy built and has a nice pocket for the cable plus elastic bands to hold the drive. The reason for 4 stars is it too large for the little drive. It is advertised for the drive, but could probaly hold 2 of them. I put some packing material in with drive to take up the slack so the drive doesn't fall out when I open the case. Other than that, I it will work for protecting the drive.

I use the WD passport hard drives often, but have dropped one and lost the drive in the past. These do fit the drive nicely and I feel much better about possible future accidents.

It's a nice idea. Semi-hard outside protects hard drive from banging and impact. Only comes with a small caribinner for carrying. It's too small to clip onto anything. so, I just stuff the whole case in my computer bag. I couldn't imagine hooking this storage container to my belt loop, which is the only thing the caribinner is good for. There is a pocket inside the case, for storing cables I would assume. Storage of cables in this pocket makes closing the case difficult. Consequently, I have to store the cable in my laptop bag. I love the pink color...that is about the best part of it. It's durable and sturdy as well. I expected something a little more portable. But I like it all the same. I won't return it.
