Hanspree ST259MUBUFH3S 25” TFT 1080P HDTV Wide Screen I already own two LCD 1080i TV’s and was looking to replace the last of the Tube’s in the house. After researching the difference between 1080p and 1080i Interlace or Progressive Scan the choice is clear go 1080p over 1080i. The new HDTV was at door within two days of order well packaged like if it were a new not refurbished TV. No scratches dents or damage. Set up was a breeze. Plugged into the house cable (Time Warner) and completed an auto cable search setup. After it was done the first thing I notice is that the TV picked up all the upper Digital channels. My other HD LCD TV’s required a cable box to see the Digital channels in the 100 > 700 lineup even the local channels like 7 now is 7 & 7– 1 the 1080 HD… of 7. My fairly new existing LCD’s only picked up HD through antenna input and in my location is a dead zone do to the mountains. Hanspree has an Advanced Digital Tuner that is capable of displaying upper cable HD programming. No need to rent cable box for extra rooms unless you view movie channels like HBO and so on. There scrambled therefore skipped over during set up. For the price the quality is so advanced that I’m tempted to give my living room TV to Mom and Dad so they can junk the Tube they have and I’ll buy another Hanspree for Me It’s Viewing Qualities are that good. Stunning Picture Details rival other models 5 times it price.

I finally decided to make the leap to an HD TV. I wanted something affordable and saw this set. The rest of the reviews looked great, so I placed an order. Got it on the day it was scheduled to arrive. Came complete with a full manual and remote control. I mainly got this TV to watch DVDs and play games on my Xbox 360. I couldn't believe all the detail I was missing when I played my first game on this set compared to my old SD TV. The colors are crisp and the images pop nicely. My DVDs also look great on this model. Setup took less than five minutes. Really simple and has a variety of different hookups on the back, whether you're using a component cable set or an HDMI cable or USB. It even has a standard composite video hookup, which I was happy about since I was also able to hook up my Wii through it. The TV looked brand new out of the box. You can't tell it's a refurb in any way, save for it arriving in just a plain brown box and packed safely inside. The remote included allows you to hook up all your other stuff through it if you like. I didn't use this feature, as I have all my stuff hooked up through my Bose system, but it's nice that it's there. All in all this is a great HD TV and I'm more than impressed and pleased with my purchase.

Not crazy about the settings available as far as the color adjustments. The picture is not as I expected being 1080p. Disappointed but couldn't really afford the best so for the money it is a good value

I purchased this tv for my 90 year old father. He is currently using it in his rv trailer/home going across country. He is very happy with the size and space of this tv. Even though we did not know of the brand name...hanspree, my father would definitely buy another. Great tv!

Great purchase. TV arrived a day ahead of schedule. Looked like new when I took it out of the box. Set up the channels and color for a bright sunroom. That's all there was to it and the picture is as good as any TV I have in the house. Two thumbs up...

I purchased this television approximately 1 month ago and I am very pleased with it. It is primarily used for playing XBox 360 in 1080p, for which it excels at. Compared to my more expensive Samsung LCD 1080p television, the picture is equally satisfactory. Overall I am pleased with the price and quality of the television and I offer my full recommendation.

Arrved on tme in perfect condition..easy to set up.....great picture.....really lacking owner's manuel... one sheet of paper ...no trouble shooting or Q&A for new owner. I have already told my daughter to get this HD TV...would love instruction for hanging on wall( if posible).

I recently received my television from Overstock. The television was in great condition and worked beautifully. I had read a previous review on here about the picture being blurry, but my pic showed beautifully after I adjusted my settings. I had been given a Haspree pc monitor a year ago and was amazed with the quality of the picture so this purchase was a no brainer, Good deal for a budget 1080p television. Perfect size for the bedroom.

I was hesitant at first about purchasing a chinese made TV and after reading the reviews. Apparently it is a hit or miss with this product. I purchased a reconditioned TV which did not come with the HDMI cord or remote. Had to purchase the cord. As we use closed captioned for our use, this didn't work. After several emails, we were able to get the problem fixed. The picture is very clear and the sound is good. I keep my fingers crossed that this TV will last at least a few years.

Seems like a good deal so far. Overstock delivered promply and TV was in good shape. Still can't seem to get full 1080P...PIC seem blurry, but is fine for what we are using it for(second TV). Set up was easy. If I had it to do over, I might spend an extra 20 bucks for a name brand, but for the price, NOT BAD.

I received the T-V within 5 days of ordering it...very prompt I must say. I set it up in my bedroom, hooked up my cable and , wallah, was pleasently supprised at the quality of the picture. It took a small while to get used to setting it up the way I like my T-V, but once done,I was very pleased. It's just the right size for a bedroom and the price was better than I could find anywhere..on or off line. Great product.

I have gone through 2 of these in the last 8 months. The first one's screen burned out after about 3 months. Returned the tv, but my replacement took almost 3 weeks to come. Overstock said they "forgot" to ship it. The replacement tv worked for about 4 months before the screen wouldn't stop shaking and a purple bar would appear at the bottom of the screen. I would avoid this product at all cost.

I am a college student(freshman) and I just bought this product and i am VERRRRRYYYYY happy with the results. Its a very nice addition to my dorm room and can be very loud once the volume reaches about 40% of its potential (this is a good thing). It's hdmi quality with my Xbox 360 is magnificent. Overall i give this product a 9/10, only because of the location of its HMDI ports and power port(however the location makes it hard for the cords to come out on their own). This is the first television that i have purchased and it may have been the best purchase of my life so far.
