I tested these against a friends pair of Bose headphones, and for the money, the Aleam headphones won hands down. In fact, the Bose didn't even have a volume adjustment on the headphones like the Aleam do. I listened to some of the heavier bass songs I have and the headphones sounded great. The noise canceling helped to take out background noise (hum of the lights, air conditioner, computer noise, etc.). I like how compact they are and that they fold up into a bag so i can take them around with me easily. They cover my ears completely.

I bought these because I read rave reviews that they were as good as $350 BOSE. I have experience with Logitech NC headphones that listed for $150 and were quality. These have a headband that smells like new shower curtain -THAT DOESN'T AIR OUT- it's two weeks now! When you put them on your head - your hair picks up the odor. There is no hard protective case. The ear coverings are on the small side. The "spring" that holds them on your ears is all plastic. quality headphones use steel spring material The NC works ok. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. Why they couldn't make them without using a smelly strip of fake leather plastic I have no idea.

Although I have no experience with headsets like this, they worked great for quieting my snoring husband and the barking dogs!

They are an outstanding headset as long as you don't go over bumps in a car. Left side you hear something rattles.

The size is perfect for my head, and I love as well how small they fold up. The noise-canceling feature is new for me and I love it. my headphones, for some reason, sometimes turns the white noise up a little too loud, but the headphones still work quite good without the canceling. I've begun to hear very small nuances in songs I've heard hundreds of times before, and it adds a lot of depth to all my music.

Can't hear above airplane engine noise, lawnmowers.

These were purchased as a gift for a guy that travels out of state almost every week with his hockey team. He says he loves them - on the plane, in the hotel, in the locker room and whenever his teammates are getting on his nerves! He was looking at Bose headphones and says these are just as nice. I'm even thinking I want a pair for myself!
