Cheap piece of crap but does the job...sort of
It's a simple plastic mold that is in two half. You place your phone in one half and then snap the other half on. It snaps together in multiple places around the phone. In two of those places, the little pieces that are supposed to snap together, snapped right off into tiny plastic fragments that fell from the phone. That corner of the casing does not form a tight closure. So, while I'm disappointed in that, I am happy that I only paid $$$ for it and not the $35 that T-Mobile is trying to charge me for their superior piece of cheap plastic.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Well, if it was designed for part of it to break as I snapped it on my phone, then yes. No defects.
