the 620 dash would make calls on its own..Called a friend at 4am several times all by its self..Diled 411 till the cows came home cost me 40 dollars of air time before I plulled sthe plug.(battery_) Do not buy this phone
I purchased the T-Mobile Dash about 6 months ago, and this phone is anything but acceptable. Sure the phone is crystal clear and the features on the phone are somewhat great but the overall quality of the phone is poor! The phone automatically shuts off for no reason and will take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour or 2 to restart. At one point I waited 4 DAYS for it to come back on. The battery power on it is not long lasting at all and it stalls at any given moment. How to operate the phone is very unclear and it has a lot of hidden folders to it. Even when you call the support tech group at T-Mobile, they can barely help you or tell you anything about the phone. Never set the alarm on it, because it'll keep ringing everytime you add a new time to it. (e.g. 8:30 am, then change it to 10 am, it will keep alarming both times even if you dont need it) Your best bet would be not to buy this phone at all. It's one flop that HTC has made. I currently have another HTC phone called the G1 (white) and it is excellent!!! Its supported by the android market and is a gauranteed knockout.
I bought this phone because I needed a phone that would link to my auto blue tooth. The blue tooth feature on this phone is very nice and the reception is very clear. My only complaint is that there was no manual packed with it. The manual would have been most helpful when learning how to use the many features on this phone.
Overstock did a super job getting the phone to me quickly and affordably. It truly was unlocked and the SIM card actually did the trick. Some minor settings didn't cross over, such as custom ringtones and games downloaded previously. Be careful where you've stored your phone numbers - all numbers from history will reappear even if you deleted them. The phone itself is a nightmare to use. Call waiting knocks off the current caller and replaces with the new caller despite efforts to Ignore the new caller and adjustment of settings. The phone is less than expected. I'll never purchase an HTC phone again. But when I need something, I'll definitely return to Overstock. Thank you for great service.
