one can build or even have a mid tower built for less or equal cost that is faster, newer, and better. period.
only thing wrong with this computer NO MS WORD very important to have this when looking for a job
I bought this system as a Xmas gift for my parents. I have set it up prior to wrapping. A piece of plastic on the front was loose and the front of the case wouldn't close properly (like it was snapped back together when they refurbished it, but couldn't get it back together all the way). So I took off the front, removed the useless piece of cosmetic plastic, and snapped it back together. The back of the system wasn't lined up well with the case either, and it was a real challenge to get the monitor plug to actually plug in. Aside from the poor casing, the internal workings seem to be decent. I upgraded Windows for them with all the updates, removed the Norton and installed AVG, and then set up MS Office for them. I think my parents will be happy as it is a speedy system for their simple needs - with decent ram and good storage. Price should have been cheaper for all the casing flaws, in my opinion.

We have had the computer for 2 weeks. Was enjoying the computer until it stopped working. We called HP to trouble shoot the problem. It was not turning on at all, even though the power light was on. They could not figure out the problem. Now we are having to send it to HP to see if they can even fix it.
