I have this 64bit system but it only 32 bit with this Vista. I find Vista leaves me wanting. I was reading reviews on certain Computers with Vista. Everyone complained reinstalled installed XP. I like some of the graphic and menus. But the plug in play Audio Visual is difficult to use. And Vista left a lot of stuff out. You can not manipulate the sound devices. They removed the whole thing. It is very limited. I can not use my audio streaming software and make mp3s. I like the look and and many features. Windows Movie Maker will not take Usb Analog capture devices. where as XP does. I have to use a different program. I can only use a DV camera.I have a webcam built in. But even that's kinda lame. While the video very is good. Better lighting and color than the Logitech usb attachable. You can not adjust the camera in anyway. The camera does not zoom in or pan. And image is opposite. I can not get a mirror effect where it looks more natural. It's inverted. My Logitech Usb Webcam does all that the HP web cam does not and more. But the mega pixels and lighting are not as strong. Then my HP web cam might be knocked out because the Usb video capture device. This happened each time with other devices many times So I have to go to system restore to solve the problem. The quick play software is the worst. Nothing but drama with this Vista software too.The System Restore is quick and easy. You are going to need it. You can create your own HP recovery Disc once. So that is very good. If you make a mistake or did not finish making the disc, the software ware will pick up at beginning of the disk you did not complete. So do not lose anything. Usb when installed is very quick and easy. .So it's the lame Vista software. Not the HP Lap.Danny!
