Officejet J3680 All-in-One Printer offers color printing, color copying, color scanning, black-and-white printing, black-and-white copying, and black-and-white scanning. Prints 20 black/white pages up to 1200 x 1200 dpi and 14 color pages with up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. Flatbed scanner offers a 48-bit color depth, maximum document size of 8-1/2" x 14", optical resolution of up to 600 dpi and an enhanced resolution of 19200 dpi. Transmits a page in three seconds. Fax with built-in telephone has a 300 x 300 dpi resolution, 200-page memory and a 90-number speed dial. Generates 20 black/white copies per minute and 14 color copies per minute. Copy functions include multicopying up to 80 and copy scaling from 25 to 200 percent. Multifunction printer features 16MB, two-line LCD, borderless printing up to 4" x 6", 100-sheet input tray, 20-page automatic document feeder, and USB 2.0 connectivity. Weighs 8.6 lb. Energy Star qualified.

I was not happy with this product. For 30 years I have been using refills and ink to keep from spending good money on replacement cartridges and ribbons. These printers seem to have a chip or something that does not allow them to be refilled. I purchased 4 on sale. I will throw all of them in the dumpster if I can't find a way to refill the cartridges.

If you are a pro with products like this, its a no brainer. But, if you are the average Joe, it takes a little time to familiarize yourself with its dynamics. Be prepared to do what is necessary to become a pro using this machine. Only then will you appreciate its usefulness, diversity and performance. After using it for a short time just having the all-in-one feature is quite rewarding. My first HP product and, so far, HP is for me.

VERY HAPPY WOULD RECOMEND TO OTHERS. I SEARCHED ALL OVER THE WEB AND THIS HONESTLY WAS A GREAT DEAL!!! $20.00 - 60.00 DOLLARS CHEAPER THAN OTHER PLACES. I NOW ALWAYS CHECK OVERSTOCK FIRST FOR WHATEVER PRODUCT I NEED.
