Well for one it is better than my old printer/scanner. Much lighter and smaller so it doesn't take up a lot of space, easy to set up. Scanner is excellent. But if you don't put the paper in the printer a certain way it assumes that it is out of paper. Then I have to get up and adjust it over and over until it's right and that gets irritating.
