Fantastic Refurbished & Upgraded Computer
I purchased this desktop for my oldest daughter after the old desktop she was using "Bit the dust". This desktop far exceeds my expectations and runs as well as some of the Brand New Desktops I have purchased in the past. It came with a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Processor, 4096MB DDR2 Memory, a 1000GB (1TB) Hard Drive, a DVD-RW Optical Drive and the Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit Operating System. My daughter Loves the computer which can run multiple programs at a time and doesn't miss anything in the games she loves to play. I have been a customer of Overstock.com for a long time and will continue to be as long as I am able to do so; I have also been a Club O member since 2009. Overstock.com is one of the Best online Electronics shopping sites I use and I have Never been disappointed by any of their merchandise.

A great computer !!
This value priced computer runs great.!! I kept getting a pop-up, though, telling me that I was using a counterfeit version of Window 7. I contacted Overstock, and they referred me to the distributor. The distributor was NO HELP AT ALL. They never returned my call. While I was waiting for their call, I did some research and fixed the problem myself. In no way, shape, or form do I blame Overstock and will continue to shop here. But they should check into the distributor's way of doing business.

Have to send it back
I tried to make this thing work. I really didn't want to send it back. I assumed that it was some kind of software problem. Updated the Windows 7 that it came with. Then, when that didn't work, I tried reinstalling the OS - three times. 64 bit and finally 32 bit. The system constantly stopped responding. Troubleshooters didn't work - even the troubleshooter for the troubleshooters didn't work. Restarts always began with chkdsk running through a routine that took most of an hour. Something is wrong. Don't know if it's software or hardware. But I would suggest adding one more item to the checklist that you sent certifying that the machine "meets or exceeds your high standards". Turn it on and see if it actually works.

Nice machine
This is a really decent machine. I have had no issues with it, and it is running all of the programs I need it to. It's just like buying a new machine without all of the "freeware" garbage pre-installed!
