  • great buy for a good computer

    I purchased this computer for my granddaughter as a birthday gift. Her old computer was really, really old and this one is really faster and has a larger hard drive. She is 16 and very thrilled with the the performance of the computer. It looks like new. The only problem we had was that the mouse was broken during shipping, but we had an extra mouse, so everything was fine.

    I've only had this computer for 10 days and so far so good. My husband set it up for me in a few minutes. No complaints. I'm happy about the price and the quality. Thanks Overstock :-)

  • HP Compaq DC1500

    I bought this desktop computer for my daughter, and it has been exactly what we needed. She likes to browse the internet and get on YouTube. All I had to do is download a more updated browser and Adobe free of charge, and she was good to go. I had already purchased a Microsoft Office Suite package, so I downloaded this to her computer as well. Now she has Word 2007, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access. I would recommend this refurbished computer to anyone. It has been a great yet inexpensive purchase for me.

A friend is looking for a comp. and I saw this one with 5 star rating but he wants to know if you able to burn Blueray disks on this? Please let me know either way and if not can you recommend another with a comparable price/ratings. Thank you! libragal1019 on Feb 23, 2012

This computer does not have a blu-ray drive. It is not capable of burning blu-ray discs. It can make cds. I was not able to find anything at a comparable price that can burn blu-rays. overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 12, 2012
