I am rating the overall purchase and not just the hardware. The HP computer was exactly what I expected. I have several others like it and wanted one more. I knew in advance that it would need some upgrading. Though a desktop, I have made a stand to make it a "semi-tower" model to save space on my desktop. The keyboard was not a name brand keyboard (an obvious inexpensive foreign-made generic) and it went into my spare parts bin. (No value there.) The mouse was a HP mouse, but not the one that originally came with the computer. I easily added more RAM and swapped the CD-ROM drive for a DVD-RW drive and was set to go. The Windows XP was easily activated and works as expected. The order was filled promptly and arrived in typical time from the shipping point. I had hoped it would be coming from a closer location and would have gotten here sooner. Suggest you ask where it will be shipped from if you want it in a hurry. I found the same model computer from another vendor at a 15 percent lower price after I had placed my order hence the low rating for value.
