Average computer for a cheap price
I needed a cheap computer to go online with and store music on. This computer is great for that and was incredibly cheap. The battery life is a bit short but you get what you pay for.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Refurbishing does not include cleaning. The computer was filthy.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No, the internal speaker on the left side did not work. I always use earbuds so this didn't matter much to me.

worked for a week then wouldn't power up
well, it seems" refurbished" apparent;y doesn't mean the battery gets checked... ours worked for one week then... nothing... no power... power supply was checked and had continuity but the battery would not take a charge and we got no power to the computer at all... so far, it's a piece of trash sitting on the table... but it looks nice.

Battery life is very short!
Great starter laptop! Very durable! With a young child in the house (7, and uses the lap top on occasion) this is a great product! The only negative aspect of this is that the batter dies very, very quickly. Even once I learned to watch the meter in the right corner, it dies before the meter runs down and without warning. Other than having to stay constantly plugged in (which is fine for our use, but wasn't my initial goal) it's a good product.

I bought this to replace a 10" notebook. I had nothing but problems with the smaller one and it finally stopped working after only 4 months. This lap top works great! Has a few blemishes but is a solid deal! It comes with very little programs which is good because most of that stuff is rarely used and it just seems to slow things down. After downloading a few programs that I needed this system works fast and great! Coulden't beat th price and what I got for my $$. So far so good, thanks Overstock you've again impressed me with one of your great deals!
